We Care And It Shows…
“I commend We Heart Veterans for their extraordinary mission; “Serving Those Who Served”. My late father-in-law, Jack Sutton, served in the United States Navy Reserves. He was called into active duty service during the Korean War where he served honorably for two years. My sole objective in supporting a non-profit like We Heart Veterans is to improve the quality of life for our aging war service Veterans and their Widows. This is something that is and will always remain near and dear to my heart.”

“Momma is elderly having made 95 years old last week, and she does pretty good. She lives in a one bedroom, so not much to do for cleaning and such, but momma is loosing her eyesight, so I wanted someone there with her to help her. She needs help with personal care and such. We were paying for all her care, because we had never heard about VetAttend. But one day a friend of Momma’s told her about VetAttend, and that she was eligible for help since dad was a Veteran. We are trying to keep Momma at her own home as long as we can. We don’t want to put her in a nursing home and VetAttend helps us not have to do that. We’re very happy we found VetAttend. So far we’re very satisfied with VetAttend and the help they’re providing Momma.”

I just want to thank you personally for being there for me when I felt frustrated with the system. You were always very kind and always had an uplifting choice of words for me. Thank you for holding my hand throughout the process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

“My dad worked hard all his life, and neither he nor mom mom ever received Social Security benefits after retirement. My dad is a proud man that worked hard and served his country with honor. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Unfortunately, after my dad died in 2013, the cost of my mom’s home care is more than I can afford. Both We Heart Veterans and VetAttend have been a blessing! My mom loves her caregiver, and said she came in and went straight to work sweeping and making her house look nice. VetAttend being able to secure benefits for my mom is a fulfillment of my dad’s wishes; he wanted to make sure my mom was taken care of. VetAttend and We Heart Veterans never gave up until the VA approved her application. Marc even went out of his way to help get additional benefits for my dad’s funeral expenses….all I can say is this has been a blessing.”

“My father, an Army Veteran, is a client of VetAttend. He is an Army Veteran who served in WWII, from 1945 – 1947. Due to mobility restrictions my father has been unable to leave his house for almost 9 months. VetAttend did a home assessment in terms of home modifications, and found that both ramps, as well as handrails were needed to resolve this issue. They also provide home care services him. People don’t realize how often we can take simple things for granted. It’s a wonderful thing, now he can leave the house and enjoy the outside again. I can take him to a park, or for a stroll, or just sit outside and enjoy the sunshine again!”
