“I commend We Heart Veterans for their extraordinary mission; “Serving Those Who Served”. My late father-in-law, Jack Sutton, served in the United States Navy Reserves. He was called into active duty service during the Korean War where he served honorably for two years. My sole objective in supporting a non-profit like We Heart Veterans is to improve the quality of life for our aging war service Veterans and their Widows. This is something that is and will always remain near and dear to my heart.”

“My dad worked hard all his life, and neither he nor mom mom ever received Social Security benefits after retirement. My dad is a proud man that worked hard and served his country with honor. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Unfortunately, after my dad died in 2013, the cost of my mom’s home care is more than I can afford. We Heart Veterans has been a blessing!”

“My father, is an Army Veteran who served in WWII, from 1945 – 1947. Due to mobility restrictions my father has been unable to leave his house for almost 9 months. They did a home assessment in terms of home modifications, and found that both ramps, as well as handrails were needed to resolve this issue. People don’t realize how often we can take simple things for granted. It’s a wonderful thing, now he can leave the house and enjoy the outside again. I can take him to a park, or for a stroll, or just sit outside and enjoy the sunshine again!”
